How do I connect IdeaLift to my workspace?
Sign in to the dashboard, then click "Connect" next to Discord or Slack. Follow the OAuth flow to authorize IdeaLift for your workspace.
How do I capture an idea?
React with the configured emoji to any message containing a URL, or use the /idea capture command to summarize recent messages.
What project management tools are supported?
IdeaLift supports GitHub Issues, Linear, and Jira. Connect any or all from your dashboard to start capturing and syncing ideas.
How does the Jira integration work?
Install IdeaLift from the Atlassian Marketplace, then connect your Jira site from the IdeaLift dashboard. You can send any Jira issue to IdeaLift as a product idea, and status changes sync automatically in both directions.Learn more →
Why isn't my Jira status syncing?
IdeaLift can only transition issues if a valid transition exists in your Jira workflow. Check that your project's workflow allows the transition you're expecting. Custom workflows may have restrictions.
