FAQ
What permissions does IdeaLift need?
IdeaLift needs "Read Messages" to detect emoji reactions, "Send Messages" to respond to commands, and "Add Reactions" to confirm idea capture.
Can I use IdeaLift with both GitHub and Linear?
Yes! You can connect both GitHub and Linear, and choose which destination to use when pushing an idea.
What happens to ideas that don't get pushed?
All captured ideas are stored in your IdeaLift dashboard. You can view, search, and push them to your project management tool at any time.
Is my data secure?
We take security seriously. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We only store the idea content you capture, not your full chat history.
