Managing Roadmap Ideas
The Kanban Board
The roadmap dashboard shows a Kanban board with your stages as columns. Unassigned ideas appear in a separate column. Click an idea to move it between stages.
Hiding Ideas
You can hide specific ideas from the public view while keeping them on your internal roadmap. Use this for sensitive features or early-stage planning.
Removing Ideas
Click "Remove" on any idea to move it back to unassigned. The idea remains in your inbox and can be re-added to the roadmap later.
Best Practices
π―Keep It Focused
Only add ideas you're seriously considering. A roadmap with too many items can confuse customers about your priorities.
πUpdate Regularly
Move ideas between stages as you make progress. Customers appreciate seeing items move from "Planned" to "In Progress" to "Shipped".
π’Share the Link
Link to your roadmap from your app's help menu, changelog, or footer. The more visible it is, the more votes you'll collect.
π³οΈUse Votes as Input
High vote counts indicate strong demand, but don't let votes be the only factor. Consider strategic value, effort, and alignment with your vision.
Customization
Make your roadmap match your brand:
- βCustom URL slug β Use your company name for a professional URL
- βTitle and description β Add context for visitors
- βCustom stages β Define stages that match your workflow
- βStage colors β Choose from 8 color options
